Mrs. Becky Adams
 

Reading/Writing & Language

Mrs. Becky Adams, a veteran English instructor with 17 years of experience, has taught all levels of high school English and freshman English classes at both TWU and Collin College.  She currently teaches AP literature and composition and serves as the English department chair/John Connolly chair for the humanities at HPHS. Mrs. Adams is an experienced grader for both state and national assessments, most notably serving as an AP reader for the last six years.  Additionally, she co-authored a publication on AP literature and college readiness under the direction of Dr. John Crain and recently served on the college and career readiness vertical team under the direction of the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. Mrs. Adams holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in English with highest honors from Texas Woman’s University. As a lifelong learner, she has completed numerous summer programs, most notably in residence at Oxford University, The Smithsonian American Art Museum, and the University of Virginia as a National Endowment for the Humanities summer scholar.

Mathematics

Math Formulas and a Calculator

Mr. Fortier earned his degree in Mathematics from Texas Wesleyan University. In 2015, he began his career in education, teaching everything from 8th grade to Precalculus.
